What is the price range in your store?
Our regularly priced dresses start at $1,000 and go up to a maximum of $4,000. We also have a rack of $500 sample dresses available year round.
When should I shop for/purchase my dress?
It's never too early to shop and get an idea of what you like! We recommend giving yourself no less than 6-9 months to order a dress. Our designers typically ship in 3-4 months and you'll need to allow time for alterations and bridal photos. If you don't have that long, we can always work with any timeline!
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Ordered dresses cannot be returned/refunded nor can discounted sample dresses.
Do you have bridesmaid dresses?
We do not! Ruthette's only carries bridal gowns and devotes all of our attention to the bride.
Do I need an appointment?
On weekdays, we are not in the store unless you have an appointment. So, yes! Saturdays are open to walk-ins but if you want a guaranteed fitting room and consultant, you'll need an appointment.
How many people can I bring with me?
We do not limit how many friends you bring to your bridal appointment. We love having everyone that is important to you! Typically, we can seat around 8 per party, so keep in mind that more than that may not have a chair.
Do you do alterations in-store?
We do not have a seamstress at our location but we have a short list of highly recommended seamstresses all over the Panhandle to send your dress to.
What is the size range of your dresses?
Our sample gowns range from a bridal size 10-16, so we are typically able to make any size work for any bride and show her what the dress would look like when fitted to her.
